We begin with key safety precautions by unplugging the unit (electric) and ensuring all connections are properly shut off and secured. Our technicians then inspect both interior and exterior components for dust buildup, damaged ducts, or blockages like bird nests. Using specialized Nikro flexible rods and rotary brushes, we thoroughly clean the full length of the ductwork, dislodging lint, debris, and obstructions. We also: • Remove and clean the exterior vent hood and flapper. • Vacuum behind and inside the fan including the blades and motor box. • Reconnect and secure all components, ensuring proper routing and airflow. To complete the service, we perform a final airflow test using a professional-grade anemometer. This allows us to verify the efficiency of the vent system by measuring the air velocity (FPM) or flow rate (CFM) to ensure your dryer is venting at optimal performance levels—ensuring optimal airflow.
